The most common asked question during an installation is how do I clean my stone?
The information below is what we offer for stone care:
For general cleaning, you can simply use a mild soap and water. Cleaners with ammonia or vinegar are not recommended for use on natural stone. When purchasing a cleaner for your stone, read the label to be assured that it is suggested for use on natural stone.
Wipe up spills as soon as possible, to prevent any possible staining. Most wet spills will evaporate on their own, however, if a stain does occur there are poultice products that can be used to assist in pulling the stain out of the stone.
Acids can etch or dull the surface of stone. As such, coasters or trivets can be used to prevent lengthy exposure to a juice, wine or any other acidic liquid.
